I haven’t updated my list in awhile because…..I’ve been going to school!
Yep, full time – to become an LADC. It is a lot of work, but so far so good! I really enjoy going to school, but one class nearly did me in. Psychopharmacology was a tough one – too much biological jargon (neurotransmitters, agonists, neurolepitics, mechanisms of action, etc. etc.). I just finished that class yesterday and it is such a relief to have it done.

It has been awhile since I’v logged onto this site because…..
I have gone back to school! I am currently taking courses toward a Masters Chemical Dependency Counseling Certificate. I love learning, but the amount of reading and writing feels overwhelming at times. It has been YEARS since I was in school so having to write four term papers along with the dozens and dozens of short answer assignments and reading from six text books (and they can never write in plain english) makes my brain feel like bursting!
I’m not happy with my current job situation. I have ZERO passion for what I am doing. So, what can I do about it? I still need to pay my bills and support my family – not sure how I can pay for schooling at the same time. I’m in my 40’s now…tick…..tick….tick….tick….tick
