and i made it through without outing myself to my family, but still managed to sneak in a discussion about how awful it is that people twist christianity to further their own agendas. not a step forward at all, really.

means not hiding it from my family, even the family members who are scary speak-in-tongues christian. i find myself thinking, “i can just wait till they die to be really open about my beliefs.” ugh. that’s awful.

this’ll take a while.
