have a penpal

she was my penpal for years while growing up, and we have such a history, i have no problem sitting down and writing to her. also, she’s very good at writing back quickly. i’m going to keep trying with the others, but i just don’t think i could do any better than my cousin.

my new attempt at penpalling, ned, wrote me back. i got the letter today, and after a long week of not even getting bills, my mailbox was very happy.

found a new potential penpal and sent her the first letter today.

i sent a reply to someone i was trying to penpal with, but she hasn’t gotten back to me. sending one letter each doesn’t make us penpals. boo.

i got my letter from my new penpal on saturday and sent a reply yesterday. i’m not going to mark this as done just yet in case i start to procrastinate or we only send a few letters. i’ll wait until it feels like i really have a penpal.

i found someone who said she would be my penpal, but i haven’t gotten a letter from her yet. it’s only been a week, though, so i’m trying to be patient. i don’t need a thousand people writing me, just one interesting person who will write back more than twice and who i will keep writing back as well.
