Plus my Discourse and Dish goal with have me reading something through my travels.

What a great book! I’m starting it with my students next week because I know they’re going to love it.

By Mike Lapinski – One of the only readings I’ve been able to find that contains more info. about Amy than she was his girlfriend. It’s not in depth, contains no pictures, but written fairly well and tried to give a accurate and grounded portrayal of this tragedy.

by Jean Giono to my students yesterday. Far beyond their independent comprehension levels, but as a read aloud, was one of the best lead-ins to classroom discussion regarding good stewardship of the earth. One of my favorite short stories.

Not your typical King in the paranormal horror sense, but every bit King in the literary king sense. Great read.

Thus chaining myself to an unrealistic and unhealthy goal for an avid reader. I know there is such thing as a library, but don’t you just get warm and fuzzies when you are surrounded by books? Errr . . . in your own home, that is.
