I've tasted it and it's quite sweet! 21 months ago

Boil clean Western Cedar needles and the root of the Licorice Fern together and strain through cheesecloth or similar filter. Enjoy. Not sweet enough? A touch of honey . . .

I took my sixth grade class to the Olympic Park Institute 21 months ago

and we participated in the most phenomenal experience I’ve had in my teaching career to date. You can see our awesome week at the following address:

The big news for me, is that I participated as a student all week long. It was fabulous in that I pride myself as being quite knowledgeable regarding the flora and fauna of the state of MT, but the climate and region of the Pacific Northwest is so new and exciting to me.

I learned I have edibles in my backyard and also the right ingredients to make tea from boiling roots and cedar needles. I have a new appreciation to my new house. Perfect.
