My two best friends and I all got this one – it’s a “sisterhood” knot. Their first, my second obviously. The pic isn’t the greatest, I know.

As homage to my 30th year, a friend and I went and got tattoos. She’d already gotten one years before and I, of course, was artless. I’d had the design I wanted picked out for a few years. This was important – I wanted something that will still be meaningful to me years from now – not just right now. A tribal chinese dragon face as I was born in the year of the dragon and have most of the characteristics of the dragon. To answer the biggest question – does it hurt. The best way to describe it is to imagine someone drawing on your body with a razor blade – cutting lightly. It’s not exactly painful, but depending on where you get it, it probably would be.
