I started college and stopped because I did not know what I really wanted to do. I felt like if I got a degree in something I hated that it would be a waste of time. I thought that I should love, I mean with a passion, what I do.
After working for the past 12 years I have met so many people who have degrees and still do not know what they want to do. They make the same amount of money as I do with their degree. That made me realize that a degree is not about loving what you do as much as yielding to its discipline. I want to finish school so that my daughter understands the importance of disciplining yourself to accomplish a goal.
