finish my degree

My mom emailed me today telling me that she has to go back to school for retraining. I’m about to do the same thing myself. In order for me to make it down here, I’m going to have to do something in the area of medicine. I don’t want to be a doctor or anything, just a pharmacy technician. It’s not my ultimate career goal, but I might like it.

I was watching a show this morning and they were doing a profile on a woman who models, travels and still have time to work on her Master’s degree online. I’m thinking to myself, if she can make the time, hell, so can I! I’m doing some research on some online colleges this week. I’m hoping to get started sometime this summer.

I’m starting all over again! :( This time, I WILL get a degree, even if it’s an Associate’s.

I didn’t want to have to start all over again, but it looks like I might have to. I hate this s**t!!!

That’s what my education counselor said to me this morning. She said that I had two options; one, I can try to transfer my courses to another school, but it might be a pain in the ass, or two, I can try and CLEP my last 6 classes and try to finish my Associate’s before I separate from the military. I guess I’m going to have to bust my ass and study for these CLEPS! :)

I only have 6 classes, an opportunity to take 6 CLEP tests, but I’m not motivated to do it. I’m afraid that I’m going to fail a test and I might not be able to get my degree. I have to see if I can transfer the credits to another school or something. There are just some classes that I’m not going to be able to CLEP!

I completed my Math requirement!!! I’m probably going to try and CLEP the last 6 classes to finish my degree, but I know it’s going to be hell!

If I don’t finish my Associate’s while I’m still in the military, I might have to start all over again…for the THIRD time!!! :( I’m trying to find a school who will accept my credits so I won’t lose them. I would hate to go back to square one when I’m so close to finishing…

I’m taking an online class next month! I never done the online thing before, but I’m so excited about it. I’m also deciding on what classes I can CLEP at the same time. I want my Associate’s so bad!!!

I’m 21 credits short of finishing my associate’s degree. I’m a little scared about it because I haven’t been in school in a long time and I’m so close to my goal that I think I might not make it.
