I started drinking cola again, but I narrowed it down to one Coke a week. Not bad, huh? I’m still reducing my portion sizes to one plate or one bowl. I can’t eat as much as I used to. I’m eating a lot more salads and vegetables these days.

I eased into drinking soda again, but I still won’t drink cola. I can’t remember the last time I’ve touched a Coke! I’m addicted to strawberry soda right now, I don’t know why!

My portion sizes are getting better, though. I can’t even go for seconds anymore! YAAAAAAAY!!!

and I still haven’t touched a soda! :) I was tempted yesterday though! I ran out of water and I think I drank just about everything in the fridge except for the sodas. My husband buys sodas on purpose just to see if I’ll drink one (sneaky, isn’t he?) I had a Gatorade this morning, but it was a small one and I just finished running, so it didn’t hurt much. As a matter of fact, I need to buy a gallon of water after work!

My diet has changed a bit since the last entry. I still do the water thing, but now it’s just water and iced green tea, no more Gatorade or sodas. I don’t eat salad dressing anymore, just olive oil (have to get that “good” cholesterol up). I have my occasional cheat days, but they’re not as frequent as they used to be. I have lost a good amount of inches off my waist and I feel great!

I’ve started on my diet this week. I think I’ve drunk a couple gallons of water this week alone! I haven’t been able to eat three times a day because of my schedule, but when I do eat, I’ve been eating more fruits and vegetables, less bread and more protein. I’ve cut out all sodas (the sodas here are too sweet anyway) and only drink water, Gatorade and some tea. My workout phase starts Monday…
