It's been a while...

since our ride. I have been distracted doing other things to update this. But we did it – we did the Pan Mass Challenge back in August. It was a tremendous experience. Aaron and I raised nearly $5400 for our ride, and next year we’ll try to raise more. But it’s just a drop in the bucket…. my boss’s father just passed away last week from cancer, and a coworker’s young child is slowly losing his battle. It seems like the list keeps growing. :(

The goal will be back when it’s time to train again.

I have this under an alternate goal, "Complete the Pan Mass Challenge"

I have this under an alternate goal, “Complete the Pan Mass Challenge”, but it is appropriate to have this goal as well, since it is a very committed fundraising event in addition to the physical training and event. In any case, here is what I just requested from you, the 43 things masses, on that goal….

Ok everyone,

I finally had a good week to ride, weather and time wise. We logged about 70-80 miles, but the scary thing is this is how much we’ll have to do in a day, x2. This means we have to get cruising on our training ASAP!

So, I need some inspiration as we step it up these next weeks. I’ll take cheers, stories of how cancer has touched your life, and of course small financial donations are always welcome (https://www.pmc.org/egifts/default.asp egift code TV0015 – hey even $10 helps us!).

Anything to keep us focused and inspired during our training…

thank you to all who spend a minute to respond somehow…
