While they lost, it was a lot of fun. Very different from seeing a major league game, and very family friendly. I had a good time.

There are a lot of very nice minor league parks out there, where (I think) you can see the game up close, still pay a reasonable price for tickets and food, and maybe even see some up and coming stars. One thing is sure, those playing at the minor league level are mostly playing for hope, or enjoyment, as opposed to stars who are often more about money than the spirit of the game. There are several minor league or semi pro teams around, but I’ve never gone.
