Watched War and Peace. The love triangles were great! Audrey’s real life husband was sexy as Prince Andre. It’s a very long movie though, and no intermission….you have been warned! Robin and Marian is next and then I can mark this goal as complete!
Becky has written 6 entries about this goal
Saw Love In the Afternoon (a nice old fashioned love story) and The Nun’s Story. Didn’t care for the Nun’s Story, too sad and drawn out. All that’s left is Robin and Marian and War and Peace! Soon I’ll have seen all of her movies that are available (I wish Green Mansions was!)
Lavender Hill Mob was good, although Audrey was only in it for a few moments. I didn’t like Always too much; granted, the ending is like being wrapped up in a fuzzy comforter, but in ll honesty, it was way to cheesy for my liking. Audrey’s character was good though. Nun’s story is next!
Here’s what I’ve watched so far:
*Breakfast at Tiffany’s
*Funny Face
*My fair Lady
*Roman Holiday
Sabrina
*Charade
*Paris when it Sizzles
*How to Steal a Million
*Wait Until Dark
*Two for the Road
*The Children’s Hour
*Gardens of the World
*The Unforgiven
*They All Laughed
Right now I have Always and The Lavender Hill Mob that I need to watch.
Here’s my list (not yet complete) in case anyone is interested:

*Breakfast At Tiffany’s
*Charade
*Sabrina
and last night I saw Funny Face….I love the scene where Fred Astaire photographs Audery dressed in a bridal gown in front of the little French church….and I like how at the end of the fashion show he finds her there again….pretty soon I’m going to want to go to Paris myself just so I can see the little church with my own eyes!
Next I’m watching My Fair Lady and then Roman Holiday.
I’ve seen Breakfast At Tiffany’s and Sabrina…I’m going to rent Funny Face…but I know there are several others I need to see too….
