- Talking to M for an hour, hearing her be excited about her summer and the next steps, even if they will be without a relationship.
- Talking to him early, early this morning after my shift at work. He graduated and was very happy with the results. Makes me happy, too. He said he missed me at the party. That makes me happy as well.
- Tea and talks with a friend. Catching up with a sometimes fast life.

- This morning I realized that I don’t have that much time anymore to book my flight to Portugal (I am walking parts of the Camino with a friend again), so I decided to book it tonight. In the afternoon I had coffee with a friend in the city center and while waiting for her I saw those two older men with bagpacks and shells around their necks. They actually are pilgrims, walking to Santiago at the moment! What a strange and wonderful encounter (it is not common to see pilgrims here in Germany, since it is a long way to walk). I took it as a sign that today was indeed the perfect day to book. I am all set for our next little adventure now. Can’t wait!
- My man told me today that he is planning to come this coming weekend. It has not truly sunk in just yet, but I am already so, so happy. This has been the longest we ever went without seeing each other. It is time that that’s over.
- Coffee with E was lovely. We sat in a local park for a while afterwards, I took two books out of our town bookcase. Good friends are always wonderful.
- Dinner with my sister.
- My new lovely wall-sticker. It’s a tree and two birds (love Ikea). I am really happy with the outcome.
- Skype with M. Much needed listening.
- The realization that until my next book arrives, I can actually read for pleasure only and not also for university. Oh, picking a book!
- My mom’s birthday celebration, complete with family and friends and cakes and nice talks. And sunshine, lots of sunshine. Welcome back :)
- Actually getting up this morning to go for a run … slow, but nice. Listening to The Cider House Rules.
- A day at home with me, myself and I. Not being upset anymore that it is just me this weekend, but embracing it instead. Knwoing that time will fly until I see him again and that we will then have two weeks together.
- Getting some reading for my paper done. Writing to my professor about an extension, all the while trying to get it done on time.
- Yummy food today.
- A pretty good day at the library and then at work. No down time, but still a lovely day.
- Deciding to go to Hamburg this weekend. Transportation all organized. Telling J, she’s super excited.
- A pretty card from postcrossing.
- Watching The Vow. I had forgotten how much I enjoy watching movies.
- He will probably visit me in two weeks. Finally it is the time for plans again.
- Looks like Hamburg might be happening after all. Fingers crossed.
