The once-a week thing isn’t always working for me. I could blame my motivation, discipline or something else but I guess somethings take longer. Not quite ready to give up on the goal, I would like to do it when I cut down on day job hours.
I’m quite happy with my latest piece. I feel like I’m starting to look credible. Really got to call some galleries and try to get a showing. Gotta make money for China trip!

Just realized I’ve been getting some cheers. Thanks, folks! I definitely enjoy encouragement. And need it!
It’s been at least three weeks since I have completed a painting. I’m still painting, but not putting in enough hours. Gonna start using a timer again, seems to help. My new goal and I’ll at it to my list, is to have my work in a gallery or cafe by the third week of december and to start showing it, the first week. Serious!
I finished a painting about four days ago and it turned out well. I am behind in my goal but I am recommitting to creating one painting between Mon and Wed every week.
I’ve got 3 days to start and complete a painting if I want to stay on sched. Last painting was a bit of a disappointed (yes, I’m too hard on myself) and I have lost energy for painting. I want to keep on track with this goal because Monday I am calling a friend that has offered to be my agent and enlisting her help. Now, I only have three paintings to show.
Anyways, I’m now going to change gears and paint for a few hours before bed.
