get into a good college

Ha, I wrote that last entry a year ago. Wow.
Well, I’m in my last year of highschool now, and I’m finally not so dependent on my mom.
Hearing of my sister’s college life is making me REALLY excited for college.
I’ve been looking at two so far..
Edinboro University in PA and Art Institute of PA.
If anyone knows about either of them, please tell me. ;]
I’m not completely sure what I want to do yet, but I’ve decided to take a few classes that I’m interested in to see if any of them spark my interest ENOUGH for me to actually be willing to major in it.. if that sentence made sense.

So I want to take graphic design and photography DEFINITELY..
and also maybe Culinary Arts and Journalism..
I also wanted to take Genetics, but that’s TOTALLY different from my top two classes I want to take.. and there’s no college with all of those that I could find on collegeboard.com.

I guess regular Biology will have to do.. though I do hate pretty much everything else in Biology other than genetics.

hmm.. maybe some visual arts too, if I end up going to one of those colleges. ;]

I’m not sure what college I want to go to yet.
I thought I wanted to go to Uconn.. stay close to home, for my mom..
but I was talking to the social worker the other day..
she said my mom would be happy knowing I’m getting a good education, and working to start a life for myself..

she said she doesn’t want me to turn out being too dependent on my mom..
and I think she’s right.. so now..
I do still want to be close. I completely hate planes..
but maybe not as close as I once thought..
maybe New York or Pennsylvania. Something like that..
