I’ve been journaling in my personal journal at least 2 or 3 times a week plus I’ve been updating my MySpace blog with increasing frequency. Might mark this off soon…

Isn’t it funny how journaling is so much easier when there are things occuring in your life that you find exciting. I guess it’s a little of a no-brainer… When things are changing fast or becoming exciting, I tend to write more. For me, journaling is so that I can never forget the significance of how I feel in the midst of whatever is occurring in my life. It’s not as easy to forget what happened, for example, “We broke up” or “She moved away”, but it’s the emotion that I want to capture.
I’ve been journaling since I received my first journal as a Christmas present the year I was 11. I love looking back at my old journals. In one sense they make me feel really silly when I read what over-dramatic reactions I’ve had to the weirdest events in my life, but at the same time, I love that I can re-capture that passion that is part of growing up.
