I paid down a big chunk on a couple cards. Now unemployed it is more important than ever to get a handle on this debt. No spending, only paying it down. I actually saved $1000 in my savings for a month to use on next months rent. It earned a pitiful 16 cents in that month while my credit cards charged me alot of money on what I had already owed. I immediately used that savings to pay down. Best money every spent and believe me it hurt to spend it. Cannot wait till tax return to get to goal at least half way.
