go hiking

Went for a great hike this early afternoon,saw all the signs that spring is in full bloom,deer on the trail(4 of them including nursing fawn)lizards everywhere,and hawks soaring in the valley below.Heard turkeys and peacocks and met three nice italian gentlemen in their 60’s on the way up.One of them said to the other in italian”there is a pretty girl behind you”and the other said “look out she probably speaks italian”and my reply was “si,buongiorno!”and we all started laughing.Of course then they wanted to talk to me in italian and I don’t REALLY speak it,just the bare bone basics…Fun!

I live in such a beautiful part of the country with so many state parks each with numerous trails,so time to just get out there and hike.It always feels so good and yet I rarely get around to doing it..
