sing in public

But technically, I did sing in public last night. We had a big company party and lets just say we all took advantage of the open bar. All of us who stayed long enough ended up wearing napkins on our heads and singing pretty much anything we could think of. We kind of went around the table trying to get people to sing songs from wherever they were from, and eventually (and inevitably) got prodded into singing “Oklahoma!” A few people sang along, so it wasn’t exactly a solo, and I’m pretty sure everyone was too drunk to care what I sounded like. I do think it got captured on video though. We’ll have to see if it ends up on You Tube. So now I just have to graduate to doing it sober.

This is probably the hardest thing on my list yet! I’ve always been very shy about my voice. My mom always asks me to sing for her, but I can’t even do that. I sound half way decent to myself in the shower, but I suppose I could be tone deaf. I guess I’ll never know unless someone else hears me.
