Have a place for everything and keep everything in its place

I moved out a couple years ago and vowed to keep a place I wouldn’t feel embarrassed about if Grandma showed up and a place I could feel calm in. My mom is a super clutter bug and while I love her and respect her stuff, etc . . ., she doesn’t get as stressed out about these things as myself. So far I have bins, shelves, key holders, and excel sheets to keep things in place and with a little upkeep we have maintained a fairly easy place to pick up around and feel proud of.
