walk across the Golden Gate bridge

i grew up in a town about 1hr and a half away from sf and i have gone across the golden gate by car. but when my family and i parked and got off to cross it by foot, i couldn’t do it. it was a while back, so i’m not sure if i got to the actual bridge or only the cement block part before the bridge starts, but i do remember that i kept looking down into the sea and started getting vertigo. my legs felt really shaky and heavy. the cars zooming by weren’t making it any easier for me to feel safe. i never thought i would have this reaction! but my goal is to go back, hopefully during summer vacation and cross that bridge!!
