- Basic Instinct 2
Sharon Stone’s manipulative behaviour scared me off so I will give her a thumbs up for this new film! Very convincing act, indeed!
- V for Vendetta
Natalie Portman was quite amazing in here (as always in her previous films) and because of that, let me award her, the “Best Actress” ever!
- Bandidas
Hey I enjoyed it very much, check it out!
Salma and Penelope, you’re both fabulous and funny! Will watch it again! :-D

I indulged myself for hours of DVD viewing this afternoon. Honestly, I couldn’t stop because it was an Around the World travelogue presented by Dan Cruickshank, a Historian from London. It was a very engaging and intimate series indeed (4dvds eey!)
He traveled in 40 countries (6 continents) in 150 days, in places that are most mysterious and most dramatic.
First stop: PERU to see one of the most spiritually uplifting places on earth and the highly-recognized destination in Latin America: MACHU PICCHU.
Notes I took while watching:
- Machu Picchu was lost in cloud forest in 400 years and rediscovered in 1911.
- it was built in the 1460s by the Inca god-king, Pachacuti Inca.
- it has about 200 buildings, home to around a thousand people.
The sight was absolutely amazing that I couldn’t help encouraging myself to visit this place one day (before I turn 40 hehe). I want to rediscover the beauty of this lost civilization, the Incas!
Tomorrow I will have another date with Dan!

btw, have you been there?
