i will no longer be a drop in! i’m going to buy myself a ten class pass and cross this off my list then i think.
it’s becoming weekly now and hopefully i’ll be able to become bi-weekly! that all depends on the cash… for now once a week is good.
I WENT TO YOGA!!! it was very enjoyable. i really felt focused. even though i need a little work on my breathing i felt i kept up with the class brilliantly. i’m looking forward to going again next week, except next week i actually have to pay. haha.
can’t start yoga today as planned because i have a bbq for work. alas, another setback. luckily there’s another beginner’s class tomorrow, so i’ll set my sights on that.
not much i realized but today i actually went on a website for a place in my town and looked at a schedule! a lot of progress, right? anyway, there’s two classes i’m interested in: tuesday and wednesday at 5:30. today is wednesday so i might go today, though i promised the girl next door i would walk her to her swimming pratice at 5, but it’s raining so she might have her mom drive instead.
(but if it’s still raining i may not want to ride my bike/only form of transportation all the way downtown.) well, no matter what happens i will hopefully be in a yoga class on tuesday.
i have both meditating and yoga on my list. and i really like them together, like, do yoga and mediate after. but i haven’t quite got to the yoga part yet, i’m struggling just to get myself to meditate everyday, but i’m going to keep with the meditation, it’s supposed to strenghthen the will, right? well hopefully that with practice it will inspire me to get going on the yoga.
but i don’t use it, though i want to. i’ve only done yoga sporatically, sometimes yogalates but i’ve done enough to know that my spine is unhappy. i’m 18, that shouldn’t be happening. and yoga just makes me feel so good! maybe i’ll start tomorrow. there are classes at school, but i have a book at home and maybe a dvd lying around somewhere. if not, i’m at least going to stretch every day until i get back to school.
