Simply casual remarks

It might just be a casual remark that the other party hasn’t even given much thought to. But sometimes I take it to heart, go home, ponder about it endlessly and frustrate myself in the process. The dumb thing is that most of the time I don’t even give a hoot about the person! I simply let the comment affect me too much. Sometimes people don’t really mean what they say. I got to stop thinking they are looking down on or criticising me!
From now on I’m just gonna brush these remarks off my shoulder, and walk off confidently on my stilettos.
