Hmmm, I can see how this movie is funny, but this is at least the 5th time I’ve tried to watch it and at least the 5th I’ve fallen asleep in the middle of it. I’m still checking it off the list, though.
I liked Slim Pickens (the pilot). Apparently he didn’t know the movie was a satire so he played it straight. Of course Peter Sellers is a genius chameleon. And George C. Scott is a great General.

We watched the 30s version last night. I found it reasonably compelling. Dave thought it wasn’t very good. The screenplay and the acting were sub-standard, but still I got a bit riled up with Kong kickin’ butt.
I’ve now seen 149 out of the 250 movies.

My husband and I watched this film last night. Kurt Douglas was very good in it but I wasn’t that enamoured of the overall film, although it was quite good, obviously.

Dave and I watched this a few nights ago. What a terrific movie! I hope all the movies on the list are this good. Gloria Swanson is some actress for sure.

I’ve seen 136 of them already (give or take), including two my husband and I watched this weekend (Strangers on a Train, Crash). But this is a daunting task, especially since my husband has seen more of them then I have and I’m not likely to watch them without him. But I’m not giving up yet.
