Finally! It’s taken four years of ups and downs and more “Cs” than I want to think about, but I’m actually graduating today, 12 May 2007, at 10 AM Eastern time. OMFG|YAY
One less thing I have to worry about; this is CROSSED OF MY LIST.

...and then I’ll have one half of one semester left before graduation. I’m not doing well (emotionally), considering the circumstances, since I feel like I JUST figured out what I want to do HERE, and now I’m being kicked out… well… more or less.
So I’m in the home stretch of my senior year in college… and it looks like my last semester will be a doozy. Taking two capstone classes and finishing out both of my majors, English (concentration in creative writing) and history. If all goes well, I’ll be graduating in May and this goal will be completed!!!
YAY.
Only one year left! I’ve fallen a bit behind, but I’m taking two summer classes to make up my missed credits and then I’ll be a senior on the road the graduation and grad school!
I’m taking the GRE this Friday. Wish me luck!
I finished my first Junior year semester, and now there’s only three left between me and graduation! YAY. Now I’m just waiting for my grades to see if I managed to bring my GPA up somewhat.
I’m gearing up for next semester. I’ve got four classes, work, and three on-campus organizations (Students for Marriage Equality, Kappa Beta Gamma, and Anime/Diplocon) on my plate. Plus, I need to find someplace to live next school year.
As soon as this semester’s up, I’ll be a second semester Junior! That’s scary… but also exciting. The way I’ve worked it out (assuming I pass all my classes along the way), I should have a bit of wiggle room my last semester at school. Oh man, I have to figure out what I’m going to do after I graduate.
I really really want to live in New York City (I love it there) but it’s insanely expensive… or else I’d have to commute to Manhattan to work from some yucky place in Jersey. Sigh. We shall see. I have some time before I need to get a job and/or apply for grad school and/or find a place to live.
Mid-terms are this week and next, so I’m about half way done with this semster! It’s been going really well this far. I’ve been holding down four classes, an on-campus job, presidency in two student organizations, and membership in 5 or 6 others decently well. I’ve learned to get up early and go to bed before midnight, which REALLY helps the getting up part. And I’ve done most of my work in all of my classes. So far, so good!
Okay, so I’ve got the first two weeks of school down without a hitch (but WITH a lot of running around because scheduling is tight).
Now I’ve got (about) eleven weeks to go until the end of the semester. Hopefully I’ll do better this semester than last.
I’m starting my Junior year at Franklin & Marshall College in the autumn of 2005. Halfway there! I know I can do it! “Be cool; stay in school!” right?
Double major in English (Creative Writing) and History.
Wish me luck this semester!
