love my job

i’ve finally come to that point wherein i wish her well. it’s a good place to be.

just a couple letters difference, love and leave :p if you can’t love it, leave it…it sounds callous but i’m glad i have the luxury of having leaving as an option, me being single and all. i said that quitting was not an option but if the boss wants you to resign and is determined to get you out of her way then why stay and be her punching bag? maybe i can practice not quitting when it’s something i’m actually passionate about. if i loved doing my job, i wouldn’t quit just because my boss wants me out. :) it’s a new life ahead of me…again! i’ve learned MANY MANY MANY things. i feel like i’ve grown up a lot in my brief stay in the corporate world. who knows, in the future, i might go back? but for now, i’d like to go back to what i left the corporate world for…teaching! :) whew 28 days more at my current job and i’m outta there :) just finishing up the job and preparing stuff i have to turn over to my replacement…

My first two jobs were at schools as a pre-school teacher. I wanted to try out the corporate world. After 3 months of trying out the corporate world, I want to go back to teaching! I miss being with the kids! I miss my old job. But I’ve ruled out quitting, at least for a year. I can’t quit again just because it’s hard. I’m gonna love this job and I’m gonna give it my best. “That which doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger.” I’ve always believed that saying but now, I understand it and I live it everyday. I’m thankful for the lessons I’m learning and the challenges are bringing me closer to God. And for that I’m grateful. :)
