Picked up some masa so I could try corn tortillas this time. They turned out well…but still not my favorite. Oh well, that’s probably why they are healthier.
I’ll call this completed now that I’ve tried corn and flour, I’ll definitely be making plenty of these!

I used the directions given here to make some flour tortillas. I used half white flour and half hand ground whole wheat. The only problem I had was the tutorial says to use a high heat and I burned a couple that way. What actually worked was 30 seconds on each side at my normal frying temperature (4.5 on my electric range)

They made for some fabulous bean and cheese quesadillas :)
