sew a jacket

I’m a step closer to the jacket… I bought the fabric for the lining. It’s a gorgeous silk charmeuse. I’m going to use a wool for the main fabric. Now comes the pattern…

I’ve sewn clothes before, but haven’t been able to work up the courage to sew a tailored jacket. It’s time. I need a nice jacket for the winter to go on sales calls, and I need to stretch my skill set. So I will make a lined, tailored jacket before the end of the year.
