Save money

I have 8 grand left in my expenses account and 2 in teh savings,
clearly a bad sign, :(
Will be getting teh months salary in a couple of days,
and have a due paymnet for a design work I did,
hopefully i will be having about 10k in the savings and 12k in expenses,
july generally is an expensive month, but lets see, I wanna try.

i have two cards and tehy are linked to different accounts, so i put savings in one, and my expenses money in another,
the savings has about 4k
and expenses has 10k
planning to move more into the savings thsi month,
and I have taken a unit linked plan, saving about 2k every month,
i am getting to learn to save, need to learn quick.

I have been working since second year at grad coll, so it has been quite some time since I ma earning some cash, but hardly ever learnt to save it, this april, i got a second bank account, now I have two accounts, all payments, my salary and freelance work payments go into one account, and then i transfer money from it into the other, so I am left with lesser money in this, taht helps me cut down on useless expenses, well I leave the debit card for that account at home, :-)

And more recently I have signed up for a Units linked savings plan cum insurance policy, learning the basics of saving money.
