It’s been a year, but I now wear a size medium in tops and a size ten in pants and jeans! Yeah! A relative came up to me over Christmas and stated how skinny I was getting. A couple of other people also told me that I looked thinner as well. I haven’t returned to karate yet for the year, but I still do “The Firm” workouts which are pretty fantastic. From my waist to my thighs are my biggest problem areas. Any suggestions?

I have now lost forty pounds (approximately). I have this thing with seven pounds that wants to yo-yo up and down. I have now raised the bar. I want to lose thirty more. That would put me at 127 (after the remaining thirty pounds). I want to wear those sexy dresses without feeling like a stuffed sausage!
It has taken me a VERY LONG TIME, but I finally dropped a size. I went to the store to buy me some jeans. Now unless there is vanity sizing, I dropped from a size 14 to a size 12. Yay!!!!!! My son has also told me that my face is not as fat as it used to be and that my stomach is flatter. This is great news for me since I had to put the exercising on hold due to a broken toe/foot in January (took almost four months to heal).
This past year(2006), I lost twenty-five pounds. I can’t really tell it in pictures yet, but my clothes certainly fit better. The only problem I have is SAD (seasonal affective disorder)which torques with my weight. Diminishing sunlight contributes to the decrease of thyroid production (I am hypothyroid). It also seems my SAD gets worse every year-especially when it comes to my weight.
today that I am skinnier than I was last year. I asked my ten year old miscreant if he thought I was fat last year. I know it was dangerous to put such a question in the hands of a ten year old. He answered me hesitantly, but honestly. He bluntly told me “Yes” tht I was indeed FAT last year, but I am getting skinny now. I have lost five more pounds. I think my karate test helped break my plateau. I can’t wait to return to class tomorrow.
Well, I’ve lost fifteen pounds so far. I have forty five more pounds to go-at least for this year. It seems to come off sooooo slooooowly. I know that when I gained the weight, I gained about five pounds in one week. I wonder if my thyroid is acting wonky again. The only benefit that I see is that currently, I can get my size fourteen jeans buttoned again. I was sick recently and that blew my exercise schedule. Well, time to get back on the horse.
I bought the work-out DVDs called “The Firm”. Now I just have to find the time to use it.
