My cumulative GPA went up by 0.06, so I still have a lot of work to do. This coming semester is supposed to be the hardest out of all of them, and I had better be prepared. After the fall semester I’m moving on to some of the graduate level courses, but they are biology-intensive and hopefully easier to study for.

I got out of class at 7pm today and my plan for tonight and this week was:
Monday (all-nighter)
1. Comp Sci homework (7:30pm-midnight)
2. Study math (midnight-7am)
Tuesday
1. Go to work/class (8am-3pm)
2. Study math/math hw (3pm-10pm)
3. Finish/submit Comp Sci homework (10pm-midnight)
Wednesday (Math exam day D:)
1. Go to class/study for math in every spare moment (?-7pm)
2. Take math exam (7-8:30pm)
3. Finish lab report (all nighter?)
Then my friend gave me 1/2 an ADHD pill. I have never taken a drug or even had a drop of alcohol in my entire life, yet I cannot express in words how clearly I can think and how efficiently I’ve been working for the last four hours. Why can’t I think this clearly and calmly normally? Why do I struggle and stress for hours each night with my daily assignments when all it took was half a pill for everything to make sense? I probably won’t even need to pull an all-nighter!
I can’t think of a single con to this decision. Maybe I actually have ADHD and this is how a normal person studies, but for now life is wonderful.
I finally got my Calc IV tutor, and just in time… my second math midterm is on Wednesday. I started studying for it today, so hopefully I can do okay. It’s my last math class ever!
At the end of this semester I’ll be done with all my core Math/Chem/Physics/Bio requirements. I registered for classes for next semester, and it looks like my hardest class will be Physical Chemistry. I’ll start asking around now for study buddies, because I don’t think there are tutors offered for that class.
This summer class:
1. Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science
Next semester classes:
1. Bioengineering Signals and Systems
2. Engineering Principles of Human Physiology
3. Advanced Topics in Physical Chemistry
4. Programming Languages and Techniques II (Comp Sci course)
5. Mechanical Engineering Product Design
I turned in my transfer applications for two colleges, but I would much rather stay were I am so I don’t have to mess with figuring out new requirements. I plan to finish my FAFSA and financial aid apps by next weekend so I can go to the financial aid office and ask about loans in case I lose my scholarship.
I tried so hard last semester, but my gpa is still not so good. I’m almost halfway through college already, and I can’t think of what else to do.
Since I might lose my scholarships with such a low gpa, this month is devoted to filling out transfer applications to schools back home. Sure it won’t be an ivy league education anymore, but at least I won’t have to dish out $50,000 per year. Sometimes I wish I was rich or I had rich parents to pay my college tuition for me.
I cut back on my work hours, and so far it’s paying off. I have so much more time to go to TA office hours and get work done. On Thursday I have an interview to get a private tutor for CalculusIV, so hopefully I can do a lot better this semester.
Well, first computer science midterm is tomorrow morning, so I have to get to studying.
I did manage to raise my GPA by .4 points, but it’s nowhere near good enough for medical school. I can’t believe I graduated high school with a 3.936 GPA (out of 4.0), got into an ivy league school engineering program, and then went downhill. Thankfully, I have three years to save myself.
I really need to raise my GPA to keep my scholarships. I start classes tomorrow, and I already started reading my Physics, so hopefully I’ll be off to a good start.
