paint

I’ve finished a few paintings in the last two years, more or less. Getting a lot of stress relieve out of painting and I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress. This will however be an ongoing thing.

I’ll paint till forever or till I get too old and incapable :p

Things have been going well, I’ve finished a few more paintings and my art class is holding an exhibit on 26 October (I think I’ve gotten the date right – anyhew). I’ve had a few offers of people wanting to buy my work, but it just doesn’t seem right. There are SO many people that are WAY better than me. Why would people spend money on something I did for fun + stress relief?

I’ve finished another painting in March ‘06 now. I don’t know what to do next. For now I’m working on some pencil sketches that have been lying in my portfolio for AGES – I knew there was a reason why I never finished them: I’m not that into wildlife/animal drawings :(

I completed two paintings in ‘05 and a 3rd one in Feb ‘06. I really do feel that I’m more comfortable and confident than I had been a few months ago.

So I’ve finished one painting this year – not quite my style, but the whole point of my art classes are to learn new methods etc. I need to relax and just be creative.

Not everything in life is perfect ;)

Busy with my 2nd one for the year. Once again it’s not something I would choose to paint, a special request was placed… I’ll see how this one comes out.

Having only finished one oil painting ever, I know just enough to want more. Improving on my confidence and skills would definitely add to the completion of this goal.
