Well, this 43T “New Year” count is interesting.

But what about spending, say, 3 years for preparing one day?

What would you prepare?

That is difficult, within a consumer society like France is. Tocqueville was right (here begins my interpretation) : within a democraty, people tend to exacerbate the differences between them.

Hence, for example, a lowly worker will compete with a senior manager for cars. The price tag difference between the lowly worker’s car and the senior manager’s car will be no more than 1:3. Our society makes us feel that this means a whole world.

But what about the 3 billion human beings that live with $1 per day?

• Démolition contrôlée par sécurité, APRES la nouvelle du 11/9 (17:20, soit 8h35 après le premier crash sur la tour Nord)

Ce terme “pull it” est sujet à interprétations (voir autres pages dans ce même topic).
Certaines/certains douteront de ce scénario en raison du peu de temps pour organiser la démolition contrôlée: temps de réaction après les attaques, recherches des plans, de l’équipe et du matériel de démolition, évacuation, etc, etc.

• Démolition contrôlée préparée AVANT les attaques du 11/9

Pourquoi pas, mais dans ce cas ces démolitions ont été préparées à l’avance dans un immeuble hébergeant plusieurs agences de sécurité des Etats-Unis (voir http://www.fema.gov/pdf/library/fema403_ch5.pdf , page 2, table 5.1).

On peut imaginer aussi un sous-scénario alternatif dans lequel cette démolition controlée préparée à l’avance n’est pas liée aux attentats du 11/9. :)

• Conclusion

De trois choses l’une, il faut choisir l’un de ces scénarios [1].
Franchement, le scénario 1, officiel, est le plus crédible. Mais lisons encore une fois ce rapport du NIST, avec les photos des feux et les propos très prudents, et regardons encore une fois ces vidéos de l’effondrement de cette tour…
