Worth the work....

Today felt like it was never-ending. My schedule was packed, leaving me just enough time to stop at QT for a bottle of water and to gas up. After completing 4 appointments I went to my last “visit” and was greeted by a one year old who is usually distant and feisty, today was different. As soon as she heard me she came in from the backyard (wearing a pink baseball cap backwards), smiled, and climbed onto my lap. Her parents and grandma smiled as they saw her play with my bracelets and then laugh when I played with her. She made my day and reminded me why I’m in the field that I’m in.
