Brrrrr - it is freezing outside, what am I craving? Hot chicken noodle soup (from Tim Horton's)

Though weather-wise I cannot complain as it has been sunny & gorgeous for the past week, but bitterly cold(-4’C, that is the mid 20s for those who use Fahrenheit). We normally don’t get this cold through the winter, but I am enjoying bundling up in my toque, scarf and gloves.

So my happy moment today is when I treated myself to Tim Horton’s for lunch and decided on getting the chicken noodle soup. MMMmmmmmm!

It was so nice and hot and yummy and warmed my body right up.

Last weekend, had fun tromping through leaves with friends

I met up with a couple friends who I haven’t seen in a while. After lunch, we went on a nice walk around Como Lake and it was crisp and clear outside and we all got to munch through some leaves.

It was a great to get outside and enjoy the lovely chill in the air and have hot tea afterwards with great company and laughs.

MMMMmmmm...I love chocolate treats

Especially if it is Lindor and the blue packaging (dark chocolate)

I was at class last night and the teacher decided to treat us all with a little chocolate fix. Super kewl! I think she need this so we wouldn’t fall asleep on her – hehee

Ahhhh - I love it when someone just mows the lawn...

that smell of sweet cut grass in the air. I love it! ( and I know those with allergies are like – yeah right, itchy eyes, sneezing and all – forget it)

I was just coming out of work, and someone had just cut the grass and it was so green and sweet smelling. Man I just wanted to roll in it. Too bad I had to be somewhere, otherwise I think I would have just layed in the grass and watch the clouds pass by.

That is my little joy of today.

Pick up the phone

That is right – use your hand, pick it up, dial the number to a friend or family member, wait for them to pick up and then chat the night away.

Always nice to get calls from friends and family, just to say ‘Hi, how’s it going?’ and listen to their voice and personality shine through from the other side.

Don’t forget to tell them that you love them!

A hug is a great gift - one size fits all, and it's easy to exchange. ~Author Unknown

Hugs are not only nice they are needed… Hugs can relieve pain and depression.. make the healthier happier, and the most secure even more so.. Hugging feels good and overcomes fear… It provides stretching exercise to short people and stooping exercise to tall people… Hugging does not upset the environment.. It saves heat and energy… requires no special equipment.. Hugging makes happy days happier and impossible days possible.

Yes… I need them and love giving them too!!

Shuffle me please

When you are stuck in the car and the radio stations are annoying with playing SOOOoooo many commercials (over and over) I have found that my Ipod Shuffle rocks.

Although it is packed full with songs (as it is original ipod of 512mb, tiny compared to what they have now) * I will be asking for a better & larger memory one for Christmas * But for now, it will do just dandy. I get to listen to the songs I want with no DJ or commercials interruption.

Go my little MP3 player! Rock out!

Joy in friendship and the natural beauty of Vancouver

It is late, but it was worth hanging out with the girlies tonight.

We had decided to have a picnic by the beach for dinner and then play some cards or something until the sun set. We all pitched in and made some tasty appies which we all enjoyed. Later some yummy dessert and watched the sky slowly turn many shades of blue, purple, red, orange and pink until it set.

It was peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed each other’s company. Though we didn’t play much cards. Finally packed it up and I dropped off the girlies and I am home now. Reminscing the evening and the beauty – Glory to God! – too bad tomorrow isn’t Saturday.

Sleeping husband

Woke up this morning way too early (not sure why), but he was already awake and he said he couldn’t sleep. He came back to bed and snuggled close and fell asleep. He slept angelically for another 2 hours and this was my moment of joy today. So I didn’t stir so he would get some more ZZZzzz. It had been a busy week for the both of us.

Rah Rah Rah!!!

You know, I like these little cheers they give you. It allows you to encourage and lift someone spirits like mine. Thank you those who have left me cheers. It has given me joy (and now I do my little happy dance) and bless you all have an awesome day!
