was supposed to be my alter ego:
from dictionary.com
al‧ter e‧go / [awl-ter ee-goh, eg-oh]
1. a second self; a perfect substitute or deputy: Her adviser acts as her alter ego during her absence.
2. an inseparable friend.
3. another aspect of one’s self.
So I kind of used the opportunity to be the person that I can’t be in normal society. I didn’t spend as much time on my costume as I had originally wanted (I actually mostly wore clothes that I might normally wear) and painted my face. The important part was the acting – and I fell a little short the night of Halloween. I wasn’t quite altered enough to be my complimentary self (I’ve been a bit down lately).
But I had fun and the next morning I went to the market and had a little photo shoot with my co-worker as the photographer. This is in the stairwell right next to the lavender booth.
