Very Helpful!

What I like most about my reading journal is the simple fact that it helps me remember what I’ve read and when I read it. When I give book suggestions or want to look up an author I’ve already read a book or two by, I can just refer to my journal. It also helps me track how much I’m reading and kind of pushes me to read more.

I also keep a section for books I want to read or authors I want to check out. I actually don’t write much about the books I read, I did this for a while and found it tedious. I do write down memorable quotes sometimes or if I feel inspired I write something down, but mostly I just keep lists with dates and sometimes publishers. It is surprisingly fun to look back on (and Helpful).
