Somehow, someway, I managed to SKIP the donuts that were brought into the office this morning for our meeting. They even had jumbo-sized iced blueberry—my favorite. I ate my kashi bar instead. It’s funny how you sometimes feel obligated to eat what’s put in front of you (at work, parties, dinners, etc.) but I’m done with that. I used to eat three donuts at a time! Woo!

Last night I went out for dinner. I ordered fish and broccoli instead of the club stacker with fries. And lo and behold…I got FULL halfway through!! This from the girl who everyone jokes can outeat anyone. It’s amazing what eating non-refined foods for a few weeks can do. I think I might be starting to look a little better, too.
On April 28. So far I’ve done okay, losing about 2 lbs per week. My starting weight was 141.6. when I went to the doc mid-April. I think I’m at about 135 right now. 135 is my usual weight so I won’t get excited until I reach 130. Then really excited at 125 and I’ll throw a party at 120 and I’m not going any lower than that! I’ve been keeping track of my eating…does anyone know what ratio of carbs/fat/protien is ideal? I’ve been at 33-34% for each category but I worry that 33% fat is too much…any ideas? It’s mostly good fats. I’ve been eating too many walnuts!
