get a passport and use it!

and it was an amazing time there but the journey out was horrible. It was my first time on a plane and it wasn’t the best experience ever.
I was so sick on the way out, when the plane set off it did sharp turns and I felt so sick and the turns kept coming. Then just before we started to go down I started to feel a little better but we went through some thick clouds and I felt very ill again. I even had the sick bag ready so I was very happy when I got off the plane and I didn’t want to get back on one to come home.
The flight home was much smoother and I didn’t feel as sick!! When the plane took off I felt a little sick but then I was back to normal within 5 minutes. The majority of the journey I was ok but the last 10-15 minutes I felt more and more sick but nothing compared to the sickness I felt on the way out.

My passport turned up today!! I was getting a little worried about it because there is a postal strike and I thought if there was something wrong with the third set of pictures I won’t know until Wednesday when the mail starts again. Then if there was another problem I wouldn’t have time to sort it because how long it takes to post etc so I don’t know what I would of done for a passport.
But there was a knock on the door this afternoon and it was my passport so as you probably guess I was very happy when I saw my passport and was even more excited because it’s my first ever passport.

My pictures have come back for the second time!! They say they can’t see my eyes!! I can so I don’t know how they can’t!! So I had to go and get a third set yesterday, this is turning out to be expensive now because I am on my third set of pictures and I’ve had to send my application back 2 times before now. Once with a birth certificate which cost me £7 and with another set of pictures. Each time I have to send it back it costs me to send it signed for recorded delivery so I hope these pictures are OK because it’s cost me almost £100 as it is now.
It’s due to fly out to Amsterdam 2 weeks on Friday so I hope that there is nothing wrong with these pictures as I am running out of time to get this passport!!

I forgot to send my birth certificate with my application and they sent me a letter back saying I need to send it to process my application.
Then I find I can’t find my birth certificate so this is holding things up. I am going to go and try and get a new one today and will send it off today if I get it. I have a priority lable so I will go to the front of the que so hopefully I will get my passport back in time for me going to Amsterdam next month.

...as the cheque was cashed three days ago. I can’t wait to see it, to finally have one. It’s going to be amazing to have a passport and of course I will be using it in around 5/6 weeks time.
I already have a pink leather passport holder which I’ve had for at least 2 years now, it’s in my bedroom in it’s wrapping waiting to be used so as soon as I get my passport it will be going in that.

...at the end of the week. I’ve got my forms filled in, my pictures taken and now all I need to do it sign it and also get someone I know to sign to confirm I am who I say I am and then I can send it off.

Because I will need one in October because I am going to Amsterdam. That is for certain!! I have already bought my plane tickets and booked and paid for my accomodation.
So this summer I will be getting a passport finally, I do want to wait a couple of months so I can lose a little weight for my passport picture because it will be in my passport for ten years and I don’t want a dodgy picture and then lose some weight.
I am looking forward to finally having a passport because once I have it i will probably travel more than I do now because I will have no excuse like I don’t have a passport because I will finally have one :o)

Then I can use it. I want to go to Ireland, Dubai, Paris … those are my first three choices of destination!!

I am going to wait until I need to have some passport size pictures taken for my driving license ~ when I pass which could be months away now as I haven’t even had my first driving lesson though I will in the morning :O)
So when I pass I will get the pictures taken and then I will have enough left for a passport so will get it then :O)

They are signed and ready to go. I now need passport pictures which I hate as I hate having my picture taken.
Ii will have them done in a few months I think as I don’t really need a passport right now though it would be really handy to have one.
They are almost £50 now so I want to look my best in the photos I have taken lol. But once I have one things will be so much better and I can go abroad for weekends and what not and it will be great and something that i am really looking forward to.
