....as I’m doing a duathlon in less than 4 months time my bike is going to get used a lot more. So I will ride my bike more, at least 3 times a week.
I’ve had this goal a while so it will be nice to finally complete it. Also it is a good thing because I should get fitter and lose some weight too so it’s win, win for me with this goal.

Yesterday I went on my bike and it almost killed me lol. I was actually meant to go running but have a slight injury on both legs and could only find one elastic bandage so I couldn’t run until I’d gotten another one so I decided to go out on my bike.
I am so unfit when it comes to riding my bike!! I struggled up hills and slight uphill slopes but I did managed to get either a third or half way up them as I pushed hard until I could no longer peddle.
I did 5 miles in total and it was tough for me but I did enjoy it especially the downhill bits where I went flying down them at great speeds. Now I LOVED THAT!!
I even rode on the roads (for the road parts) and riding on the road is something I’ve never done before although the last long hill I did go on the path because I was stopping and starting and it was way too dangerous to be doing it especially on that road because it gets quite busy.
I am unfit when it comes to cycling and I do need to get fitter so when I was on my bike yesterday I decided that I was going to ride my bike once a day during the week to help myself get a lot fitter as fast as possible. It will also help me with my running because the fitter I get on my bike the fitter I will be when it comes to running.
So from next week not only will I be riding my bike 5 times a week but I will also be running 4/5 times a week. I have to do this because I have 6 weeks left until the half marathon and I am nowhere near as fit as I need to be.
My rides will get longer and tougher but I need to train as hard as possible and as fast because I am surely and quickly running out of time.
I haven’t ever been out on the bike that I own even though when I was younger I loved riding bikes and was forever out and about on one.
I’ve had one a few years now and have never been out on it but now I can say i have.
I actually enjoyed my bike ride today, it was a nice route I went on the weather was just right too. I did about 5 miles and it didn’t feel like that, it is quite easy riding a bike so of course I’m not going to struggle with 5 miles.
I enjoyed it so much that I will go out on it again as often as I can!!
my dad went out on it the other weekend and said it is rubbish lol thanks dad lol and it isn’t comfortable and needs replacing. Hmmm. I haven’t even been on it myself yet but I would at least like to go on it and wear it out (or the tyres) before I get a new one because it would be a waste otherwise and also I can’t even afford to buy one so it will really have to do.
I miss riding bikes because from the age of 3-13 I was on my bike all the time. Of course now I can’t go out on the street and ride it up and down really fast without a helmet like I used to do 11-12 years ago because it is way too dangerous. I miss it so much.
I don’t think I have been on a bike since I was 15 when I sold my 2 bikes (yeah I had two) to save up for a drum kit. I miss it so much and am way too unfit to ride my bike around where I live now because it is all hills. .... so i need to work on my get fitter goals so I can then get back on my bike because I miss riding bikes more than anything!!
I have lost more weight I will get out on my bike. Losing more weight will make me feel more confident about getting out on my bike and I am sure it will also help me with further weight loss being out on my bike.
I can’t waut to get out on it, it would be nice to get out every Sunday during the winter and have a nice ride. I know my dad wants to get out on his bike more so maybe this is something we can do together. When I have reached my goal of lose 20lbs I will then get out on my bike!!
but I do want to get fitter first so I need to get into that goal and I said from next week when I get the chance I will go on walks with my dog and sometimes I feel if I can’t do an hours worth of walking that it can be pretty pointless but 10 minutes here and there is so much better than nothing at all.
So when I get the chance even if it is for just ten minutes I will get off my ass and get on a little walk with my dog as it will do us the world of good and of course I am meant to walk the dog and he doesn’t get walked as much as he should do which is a shame.
I need to get out and I plan on getting out and I will get out and that is a promise and I know every little helps so here goes….
is perfect for me to go out on my bike but I want to be fitter before i go on it. I know I am too unfit for my bike at this time but my goal is to go on it within the next 6-8 weeks so that will give me plenty of time (as long as I don’t get sick) to improve my fitness levels and then I can get out on my bike :O)
I have one now and I even have it on as I type this :O)
I think I look really stupid in it but it will be helpful in saving my life if I am knocked off my bike.
The last time I had a helmet was when I was about 11 and got a new bike off my mum and dad they also bought me a yellow helmet which I wore about 2 times and didn’t wear it again and eventually sold it.
It is better to be safe than sorry though!
I picked a helmet and if the shop is open today I am going to get it :O) It might not be open with it being Easter Sunday but I hope it is.
I am going to Next which is next door to the shop that sells the helmet so if it is open I will be getting a nice new helmet which will hopefully push me to go on my bike :O)

Anyway a few years ago my dad bought me a almost new one off my brother and I rode it round the back yard once and then my dad went on a biking weekend on it and since then it has been in the laundry room.
I want to get on it so bad and I know I am way too unfit and I need to get fitter before I can go on it but for that I need to time (which I won’t have for at least two weeks) and then I need to be full health. But when I am I want to go on it, need a helmet – I think I will treat myself to one as that might push me to get on it so I don’t waste money :O)
