buy a car

I have seen the car that I want and I don’t have the money for it….story of my life! So I’m not pleased because by the time I have the money it won’t be there.
I did think I’d have more money by this stage with me wanting to get a car in the next 4-5 weeks but it seems that I’m not even half way there at this point and I’m doing everything I can to get enough money together including selling things on ebay and I’ve sold some things on ebay but not made enough money, I may make around £100-130 by the end of this month which is handy towards the money I need but it’s not really much. I’d love to make £200-300 on there in all honesty but I’m running out of things to sell and I refuse to sell things I need/want/use so I have a limited amount of things to get rid of on there. I’m going to have another look round the house for things because I do need the money and plus getting rid of unwanted/needed items is always a good things especially if it’s going to make me a lil cash towards a car.

...I will be buying a car. I don’t think I can wait that long but I don’t have any choice because I don’t have the money needed to buy a car yet.

I keep looking at cars which is punishing myself because I keep seeing ones that I want and I can’t afford them just yet. I know I shoudn’t look when I don’t have enough money because it’s horrible when I find something I love and simply can’t afford it.

I am really determined to get one in the next 4-8 weeks and I’m saving like mad and basically have no money to spend on myself other than for essential items. I’m evening selling some clothes, I don’t wear, on Ebay to help me raise the cash.

I’m after a Corsa..anything from a 02-05 but looking at my cash situation it’s more like a 02 than a 05 if I want one so soon. I did decide that if I got a 02 I’d get a 05 later on in the year.
It has to be a 1.4 or under and most of the ones I’ve been looking at are either 1.0 or 1.2s which is good and I did want 3 door so I didn’t have to give lifts but I’ve seen some amazing 5 door cars so it’s likely I might end up with a 5 door one even though all along I’d only been looking at 3 doors.
I would like it in Black or Silver but they do a really nice blue which I’ve not seen around much so I’d settle for blue but not the bright red or white they have.
I also want the car to be manuel even though I was determined to have a automatic once I passed my test but I’ve changed my mind because changing gear is second nature to me now, I don’t even think about it, so I’m only after a manuel now.
As for petrol or diesel goes I don’t mind either way, there isn’t many diesels around but if I find a perfect one and I have the cash then it won’t matter if it’s diesel.

I’ve driven 2 Corsas and I do like them. They are very basic inside which I don’t mind but a lot of people do. The only thing I’m not too keen on is the suspension, it’s not very good especially going over road humps. When I’m on driving lessons he likes it if I go over at around 10mph and after going over them faster than that I realise why…its not very comfy put it that way so that’s the only thing I dislike about them.
They are very cheap to tax (with the tax going down again next year) and are 60+mpg and insurance is one of the cheapest so it’s good all around.

I’m really excited about the prospect of getting a car even though it means that I will have to do without things for the next 3 months but I don’t mind because I will have a car and a lot more freedom and indepedence.

I really want a car and I’ve been looking around and seeing what I should get as my first car. I need something with a small engine for tax and insurance purposes and also a car in a low insurance group for cheaper insurance. I’ve seen two makes of car I want so I am going to keep my eye out for the perfect one as I save up for it.

I am learning to drive at the moment and when I learn I can borrow my dad’s car when I want but my ultimate goal it to own my own car.
