I'm fitter now! 3 years ago

I am so much fitter than I was 6 months ago. But this goal wasn’t and isn’t about becoming fitter!
So as far as the become more active goal I would say I have become 200% more active than what I was 6 months ago, even a year ago if I am honest.
I know my downfall in becoming so lazy was getting a computer just over two years ago and going on the internet. I hadn’t experienced anything like that before and it was such a culture shock for me if I am honest.
I used to spend too much time on here, when I first got it I was spending up to 16 hours a day on here and sometimes more and now I am probably on 2 hours a day max if that. One of those hours is on MSN in the evening catching up with friends and the other is checking and replying to emails as well as modding the conferneces I mod.
Somedays I don’t even get on here because I try to keep myself as busy as I can. I work a lot harder now and everything and if I am bored I always try to find myself things to do to keep me busy.

So I am a lot more active and have completed this goal which shall lead nicely onto my next goal which is to become fitter and also still stay active.



Today...... 3 years ago

I have been out twice today. First time was into town, well not into the town centre but to the other side because I went to the job centre as I happen to be looking for a nice part time job.
Then I have just been out again taking my dog for a walk, it was about 30 minutes long and walked fast on the way back, really enjoyed the walk and if it wasn’t getting dark and colder out there now I would go for another one. I also have things to do now anyway but me is becoming more and more active.



Felt wipped out! 3 years ago

This week I have felt totally wipped out! I have had no energy at all and have been extremly tired by tea time each night. Maybe it is because I have just gotten over a illness, I don’t know but whatever it is I hope to be back to full health and strength soon as I am sick of feeling wipped out!



Not stopped much in the last two days 3 years ago

I haven’t stopped moving much over the last two days and am worn out from it but at least I am becoming a lot more active.
My fitness levels are forever increasing and I am very happy about that.
The only way is up as they say and that is the way my fitness levels are going as well as the amount of activity I have been doing.



PIU DVD.... 3 years ago

I did it again today and I managed to do more without stopping but the hardest section is still really hard and is the section that I stopped the most on.
I will keep doing this DVD twice a week in hope that one day I can do it all the way through without stopping once. I know that if I carry on I will be able to do it all of the way through soon.
I really push myself with this DVD and when I am breathless I carry on with either the arm or leg movements until I am not too breathless and then I carry on. I push myself so hard with this DVD but in the end that is what will get me the results that i want :O)
I still haven’t had a go at the bums and tums section but i need a floor mat before I do that as it is all floor work and can’t do it on the wooden floor.

Well yesterday I put the Pump It Up (PIU) DVD on and I did it all except the Bums and Tums section because I don’t have a floor mat.
I didn’t stop once in the warm up or the first dance section but the second one started off so fast and hard that there were times where I was stood around for 20 seconds a time and a couple of times were I was so out of breath that I had to stop for a minutes and catch my breath and have a drink of water.
Then I managed to do the rest of that section as it slowed down and only stopped now and then for 10 seconds which is good. There were some points where I was tired and just did the arm movements and some when I just did the leg ones just so I was at least doing something.
I did the cool down as well at the end which I missed last time. I needed a floor mat for that too and am going to have to sort one out as I have a sore back from a couple of the moves.

All in all I really enjoyed the DVD and will try to do it twice a week as I feel it will do me good.
i don’t ache as much as I thought I would today, my legs are a little stiff and couldn’t do it again today and my stomach muscles ache a little but I am sure I will be able to do it again tomorrow and I can’t wait.

Soon I will be able to do it all the way through without stopping as I will of course be getting fitter each time.



I'm am so tired! 3 years ago

I am still very tired and achey from Friday, my legs are killing me atm. Might be because I went so far and am not 100% well atm but I don’t know why I am in so much pain.
I was tired and sore all day yesterday but didn’t stop once until about 7:30 last night when I had to because I was so tired and hungry that I couldn’t carry on.
Today I feel almost as achey as I did yesterday and I am going to be busy all day yet again but at least I will be active all day until about tea time, I don’t know if I would have tje strength to carry on after then so I hope everything is out the way by then.

Well
I did as I said I would and walked into town today and back.
It almost killed me! ... OMG!
I was half to town (if that) and all of a sudden I have no strength or energy at all in my body so I had to walk really slow. I then got to town and had to sit down for a little while to get some energy and then I was able to walk home. I feel so out of energy now and it is down to being ill and not having done much exercise for months now.
Just got back 10 minutes ago as I went out again (must be mad) to take my dog for a walk. He likes going out got a walk and I don’t take him as much as I want or like to so I went out with him seen as I am finally out of my PJs. The walk was about 25 minutes long, up hill and then back down the hill. I was worn out when I got in and my legs hurt at the top but other than that I feel fine. I still have the cold which is a total pain as I can’t do as much as I would like.
Tomorrow it is shopping as well as having to go to my mums house and have to help move things as we are getting lots of pine furniture off my mum for my bedroom. I don’t know if I am strong enough to help lift it but will have no choice when I get here with it.

I will be walking down to town on Friday so I will see how I fair with that.
I am still very weak from being ill and I am still ill but feel the best I have felt in the last two weeks.
If I do OK going to and from town I should be able to do some exercise from next week.
I really can’t wait to do the Pump it Up DVD, I have been wanting to do it all week but couldn’t so I am hoping I will be well enough monday. Please let me be as I am dying to exercise now.



It is driving me up the wall.... 4 years ago

It really is, but i have no energy to do anything and i want to work out so much but I am still sick and I am really sick of being sick! I just want to be well again so i can do things as this not being able to do anything is just too hard for me.
I won’t attempt the Pump it up dvd again till next week, not after what it did to me on Saturday but I am finding this not being well enough to do anything too hard to cope with.
