Happy Birthday, Luna Nueva and Flirt!
Yesterday was a full-of-badnews kind of day. Another employee gave notice at work. The dentist told me that problems with my bite are causing peridontal disease, despite my good efforts at dental hygiene, and recommended some pretty involved work plus orthodontia. Mr. Wren found out he has to buy four new tires. And the vet is worried because Sadie’s red blood count has dropped. Plus the vet bill was about 8 times higher than I had anticipated. whew! I am hoping for a lot less excitement today!

What with the Sadie crisis & now Mr. Wren is sick, my vacation has not been much fun so far. Oh, well, maybe next time. We are taking Sadie to the vet today for follow-up blood work, and I am excited for the vet to see the remarkable improvement in her health!

Today Sadie will be getting an ultrasound to see if there is a tumor in her kidneys. Don’t think I’ll be able to get anything else done, my paws will be crossed hard all day.

The main focus of the day is to take good care of Sadie and see if she has to be hospitalized or not. So far, I think she will not have to go to the hospital, but we will know for sure if she continues eating and drinking water and makes it through the day without throwing up.
