  • got up extra early & worked out, even though I had to leave extra early for a meeting & so had the perfect excuse to blow off exercise.
  • got EVERYTHING done at work – even dusted my desk!
  • made the phone call I’ve been dreading – and it ended up being a very nice experience. There is an important lesson for me.
  • donated to the MS ride.
  • bought a pair of my favorite motion-control sneakers at 65% off regular price.
  • took time to say farewell to everyone at work before leaving for 2 weeks.

  • Felt a bit better about my life!
  • Interviewed 3 job applicants (I am a good interviewer!)
  • and found The One – whoot!
  • made mushy love talk on the phone with Mr. Wren
  • had fun just shooting the breeze with my boss about politics and Rush Limbaugh and children and lake effects.

  • another excellent morning workout
  • sponsored two more dogs at Best Friends Animal Society
  • pushed myself to do a little public speaking
  • pushed myself again and did some after-work socializing
  • both pushings of self ended well!

  • Completed a super-challenging workout
  • Made plans to meet an on-line friend for dinner
  • Got all of the crazy SPRINT budgets done!!!!!

  • In a marathon of budgeting, I completed 12 of the 14 SPRINT subcontractor budgets in one day. Exhausting!

  • had a nice walk with Sadie the Dog
  • did 50 minutes of cardio exercise
  • got the house all tidied up
  • bought the week’s food
  • enjoyed a nice, long chat with our neighbor at the supermarket
  • paid the bills
  • mailed card to Vex’s dad
  • made delicious hummus
  • walked around the yard with Mr. Wren looking at our trees, while Sadie sniffed around.

  • completed a new, supertough workout
  • snuggled Sadie the dog
  • visited some old friends from work; enjoyed very nice chats
  • worked hard in therapy


Wednesday 19 months ago
  • increased my cardio exercise to 45 minutes
  • and first got up a bit earlier so I could exercise more
  • was a powerhouse of productivity at work
  • coddled Sadie the dog while she was in pain and disoriented from her operation
  • cuddled up and talked to Mr. Wren about the fact that our beloved Sadie is now an old dog and won’t be with us forever

  • was ON TIME in the morning. It felt good. I would like to do this more often.
  • pulled off a very nice surprise puppy shower
  • got through initial feelings of overwhelm and irritation after my boss decided to do a project that was already done in a completely different way and found a way to do it.
  • enjoyed a little iTunes binge

  • practiced self restraint…no gel pen stabbings, and believe me, I felt like it at several points during the day.
