I’ve posted a different arrangement of this selection before. It has a very haunting quality to it and speaks to me. This time, this arrangement is done by a male performer:

I still pray to God. I give thanks, I pray for strength and I pray for good resolutions to take place. :) The great thing about praying is that it doesn’t have to be done in church, it can be done anywhere. God will hear us wherever we are.
In 2001, Billy Preston performed during a memorial tribute concert to his longtime friend, the late George Harrison and sang this powerful song written by George (check out Ringo on drums, Paul McCartney backing up on piano, and Eric Clapton & George’s son, Dhani Harrison, on acoustic guitar):
Praying that all cancer patients receive strength and courage to fight their disease.

This is a very touching video about “soldiers of cancer,” children, who are afflicted with cancer. It is a set of photographs of the children. Both my parents died of cancer. I am aware of its devastation in families.
The video is set with the song, “Joseph’s Lullaby,” by MercyMe. It is such a beautiful, gentle song. My Christian rock band performed it last year at Christmas. Our drummer, Drew, sang the lead and his voice was incredible.
Tonight I learned that a very good friend and some of her family were involved in a very serious car accident last weekend. The car was a write-off, yet fortunately, although her eldest son required immediate surgery and removal of part of his small intestine, it appears that everyone may be able to recover and live normal lives. I pray to God for their complete recovery and emotional healing from their traumatic experience. Thanks be to God.
I pray to God for the lives of the little Amish children who are struggling for their lives after being attacked by a shooter in Pennsylvania. Please God, give these young girls the strength to recover from this life-threatening experience and let them be able to live a quality life following their injuries. I read that at least two of the children are in very critical condition. The pain that these poor innocent souls must be in makes me cry.
I don’t think I will ever be able to understand the senseless killings that have occurred with more frequency over the past few weeks. Why must we do this to one another?
Even with all the heartache my teens give me week-to-week, during this past weekend, I have been giving prayers of thanks to God, for having them in my life. One day, they won’t be teenagers anymore, lol, therefore, there is light at the end of the tunnel. ;)
Thank you God, for giving me my sons and allowing me to appreciate and enjoy them. :)
My heart reaches out to the people and families affected by this terrible news. May God give strength to the relief workers and faith to the families of the perished souls.
