I was woken up by the light of the sunrise coming through my window this morning. It really cheered me up and I started the day feeling really peaceful and very in love with the world. xxx

Insomnia in the morning light 3 years ago

I always associate the sunrise with not sleeping. I’d not be able to sleep and just watch the sun rise. I’ve been sleeping better recently – which is great – but I miss that special half an hour when nobody’s awake and it’s just me and that really magic light that makes things glow and makes everything beautiful.
