I’m going to try to get up earlier and go for a walk in the morning. If I get up between 4:15 & 4:30 I can walk for 30 minutes – that at least is something. I found this great trail I’ve been dying to check out, so I’m going to do that when it’s not raining and see if I can manage to do it every day it’s not raining.

Now that the nice weather is here, I should be getting out. It’s just that I feel guilty leaving the house while my husband is working on the new bathroom. We can’t both fit in the room (it’s a closet, basically – just a half bath, very tiny) to work, so he’s doing the plumbing and stuff. I have to sand the trim and coat it with poly, but I can’t get in there to do it. So I can’t leave the house…
Since it was so gorgeous out, we walked everywhere this weekend. Saturday was already covered, but Saturday night we walked to a carnival about 1/2 mile away and walked around there for a few hours, then back, and same thing on Sunday. I found a great walking path I’ll be taking advantage of in the future, too. Off to a great start, moving more than usual. Monday we were having guests so I “speed cleaned”—work up a good sweat dusting and vacuuming in record time. It’s almost… dare I say it… fun!
Tearing out floor, walls and ceiling is hard work! We’re doing that to our half-bath and I’m working up quite a sweat. It will be worth it in more ways than one!
I need to just MOVE. Even if I just walk for 15 minutes, it’s more than I’m doing now. It’s time.
