Get a tattoo

I will have my tattoo in 48 hours!

Have design, paid deposit, now just to get er done! THis week or next I hope!!

Have been waiting for a friend to design it for ages, decided I can design myself. Have a prottype ready to show a tattoo artist, and the tattto artist picked out. Tomorrow, maybe I will call her?

I am going to offer some sort of barter, to get my friend to actually hurry up and do the design. He is pretty busy with getting paid to draw things, so….

I bugged my friend for a design again. I want to get it before spring really hits, so I can wear long sleeves while I get used to it, and let it heal before it sunburns?

So I am thinking of getting a bit of white ink as part of the tattoo… could be neato?

Anyone hear anything good/bad about this?

I’m getting patient about this —still waiting for my pal to do a design though - gotta get it before 2009.

I am now 30, which I thought would mean it would make we less likely to get a tattoo, but it’s more like, f$$% it, why not? It is just my decaying body we are talking about here.

Anyway, I even know where and what I want tattooed. And have a friend who is a brilliant illustrator to design it. How long should I think about it before I am sure? Cos I just got the idea, like, less than a week ago?
