The last two months I’ve started to get bored online and I just read x blogs (my friends list on LJ, plus some more that I find interesting), and then I do other things, like making icons and watching tv shows or films or reading or whatever. I know most of them (except reading) are done or on the pc or in front of a screen, but I think it’s different being actually online than doing other productive things.
I’m still not marking this as done because I still spend more hours than I would like here, but at least I’m getting better.

Since I started uni, as I don’t have many homework, I spend about 6-7 hours a day, every.single.day. And at weekends is worse, maybe 10-11 hours. And most of the time I’m not doing anything productive, I just read blogs or find new websites or something. I have to stop this! I will start slowly, maybe reducing 1-2 hours every day for the first week, then reducing it until I get 3 hours a day, which is not bad. I think that combining this with my goal of reading more will be a very productive way of getting these two things out of my list – and hopefully maintaining them!
